The silence drowns out,

Everything I want to feel,

I feel so alone.

I’m lucky because I have lots of people who care and look after me. People who check on on me. Yesterday was mental health awareness day and lots of people will be feeling alone and like there’s no way out of this.

There is. Mental health issues are nothing to feel ashamed by. It’s okay to not be okay. But you must make sure to look after yourself and put your well-being and mental health first. You must look out for you.

If you need help it’s okay to admit that and get it. It’s nothing to be ashamed of.

Mental health issues are serious, we must treat it that way. Check up on your friends and spread the love. We can all love each other a little more.
