It has been ages since I have written a haiku prompt that I almost forgot how to write a haiku! However, with blogging everyday I thought that now would be the best time to bring it back. So low and behold here is the poetry prompt Plump and luscious which I have used.

Plump teddy cuddles,

Swapped for alcoholic drinks,

Luscious nights we miss.

Growing up you don’t realise the small changes you make everyday that take you one step away from childhood. Then suddenly, you’re applying for PhDs and jobs and it all catches up on you at once. Today is an ode to my childhood, full of love and magic.
